Filling out our online authorisation form grants us permission to review your Revenue records and represent you as your appointed Tax Agent.
Submitting a claim is free. No upfront payments are needed. If we secure a refund for you, our fee is 10%(+VAT) or a minimum fee of €26(+VAT). If the refund doesn’t meet our minimum fee, you owe nothing more.
Here’s how our process works, step-by-step:
Complete our online form and DD mandate, permitting us to act as your tax representative and deduct our fee accordingly.
After that, we will:
- a) Register you as our client and assess your tax from the past four years.
b) Inform you about other potential tax credits or allowances you might qualify for.
c) For married couples, both partners need to sign up.
d) Send us your medical expenses via email or post for processing as we assess your tax.
After our review and based on your details, Revenue processes the claim and provides a Statement of Liability.
After the Statement of Liability issues, revenue will send the refund directly to you via bank transfer or cheque in 3-5 business days.
We charge our fee for the services we have provided – we will always notify you before deducting our fee.
Here’s a quick breakdown of our claim timeline:
- Most claims are completed within 7 days however complex claims and during busy periods may take slightly longer.
- After updating your account with the provided details, Revenue generally takes up to 7-10 days to process the claim and release the Statement of Liability. But they usually accomplish this within five days.
- As soon as you receive the payment, our service fee is due. Our refunds team will contact you regarding this.
You will receive 2 letters from revenue. The first will be to notify you that My Tax Refund has added you to our Tax Agent account with Revenue to review your taxes.
The second letter is your Statement of Liability for your own records which will show any refund due to you from revenue.
You’re eligible to claim tax refunds for the previous four tax years, for example: currently you can claim for 2021-2024. Don’t miss out on what you’re owed!
Choose how you want your refund from Revenue: either through a bank transfer or a cheque. Just indicate your preferred method when signing up and we will ensure that revenue sends you the refund by your preferred choice.
How Do I Pay the Service Fee?
We have made this process as simple as possible. Once you have signed our Direct Debit Mandate, we will do all the hard work for you! Once the Refund has been credited to you via Revenue, we will email you to notify you we will be deducting our fee. If you would prefer to make the payment via our Online Payment Portal – just let us know!
